Frequently Asked Questions

Is this umbrella a manageable size for a child to carry?

The confirmed measurements include 71cm. Compare the opened and folded size with the child’s height and bag, and supervise the opening mechanism until they can use it safely.

How should I open it safely in a busy place?

Point it away from faces, check there is clear space around the canopy and make sure the runner or automatic mechanism has locked before walking.

Will it cope with strong wind?

No verified windproof rating should be assumed unless it is explicitly stated. In strong gusts, close the umbrella rather than forcing the frame to stay open.

How should I dry and store it?

Open it in a ventilated place until the canopy is dry, then close it without twisting the ribs. Storing it wet can create odour and shorten the life of the frame and fabric.
